Funny Jay, you tried to buy the same strike from Pete Ryan back in 2007. Search the archives on this board and see the 4/10/07 discussion about these so called "error" strikes. Richard Anderson referred to a 3/5/07 post by the O'Neals where they showed pictures and all but I couldn't find a 3/5/07 post in the archives. I'm thinking it might be on the chip board?

A reversed insert can't happen from a machine, it is done by a human. The die is one piece. Since there were so many loose inserts on this strike, what probably happened was either someone won some and took the loose insert out and reveresed it and turned it back in, or more likely, some of the loose inserts were discovered at the mint and a mint worker put them back in not knowing they were reveresed.
