Re: Excalibur .999 Strike
In Response To: Re: Excalibur .999 Strike ()

The dream is real! I don’t mind a well designed clad or two but that silver, that is why that $100 went in there in the first place. Touching on the coin aspect, sure I could collect Susan B dollars or post ‘64 Kennedys but what kind of fun is that? I truly love a cameo Morgan, silver Eisenhower, or bright white roll of ‘64 Kennedys.

Quick story—(be sure to retrieve a beverage of choice as you read)

Dropped into a new coin shop on a whim one day some time ago and asked to see their Kennedys. After the owner showed the BU beauties, he inquired regarding the number I was interested in buying. My response was simple; all that you have. Ah, silver!

Okay, okay, if you insist, one more story. Be sure to retrieve another beverage if needed.

Bought 40+ Morgans from a vendor over the period of a year within a range of $30-$40. Cull was around $26 at the time. Had them graded and all graded MS. Most were 62-63 with a few 61s, some 64s, and a 65. Imagine the fun of opening that box of freshly graded coins. vbg

Okay, story time is over, be sure to take care of yourself, take your pills before bed, and have a good night.
