One of the ways I keep track of my collection is by silver content. Personally, if we knew exactly what the centers of the smaller tokens weighed along with the rings, I'd probably count the silver in the rings...even if it's not cost effective to recover. I count the silver in my war nickels (35%) and some low silver content foreign junk as well for my tracking, so that's just how I like to do it. That said, since no one has popped out the centers to weigh, I just used the 6.4 ozt estimate for my tracking. It's also how I calculated how much to offer (a few bucks above melt) when I purchased my set.

Can't speak to the documentation or mintage, but I do remember digging up the thread that mentioned it on here when I was researching. Too bad that guy never got back to us with a scan of his COA...could have saved us all a bunch of debate!
