Re: eBay announces it will collect sales tax in 20

Hello,
If I read the article correctly Ebay "we will calculate, collect, and remit sales tax for orders shipped". Does that mean they will have an extra charge on the order and the seller does not see this or are they taking out of my total? What about shipping charges? We pay Ebay fees on them now. Are we going to have to pay sales tax on shipping? What happened to where a store had to have a certain amount in sales before the tax applied? "What this means for eBay sellers: Regardless of where you’re physically located, if you sell to buyers in certain states, those states may require you to collect applicable taxes on your transactions." Sellers might not have to do anything. I think there is too much to interpretation on both sides. Keyword is MAY. Ebay hasn't sent me any info on this yet.
Just giving my POV.
