Seller Response to me
In Response To: Re: Buyer requirements ()

My question:

I appreciate that you have a buyer requirement of one item every 10 days.
I do not understand why I can't BID on more than one auction, since it is an auction and I am bidding, not winning, each item that I bid on. Is there any way you would consider putting 10 of these into one item on eBay and let me bid on that item?
Thanks for your consideration. I am truly interested in purchasing these tokens.

His answer:

I can only assume eBay doesn't allow the other bids because if a bidder has multiple auction bids he could end up with multiple wins, when the limit has been placed at 1. If a bid is placed on an auction where it has been outbid and that bidder places a new bid on another auction, he would be able to go back to the original auction and place a higher bid, thus creating a scenario where multiple auctions are top-bid by the same bidder. I have other regulars who have canceled their currently non-winning bids to be able to bid on other auctions. I guess that's a work-around.

Experience has shown the 1/10 policy this is the best course of action for me. I'll have to keep the auctions separate.

Thanks for your interest.
