If I multiply your 47.45 ounces of sterling silver times .925, the result is 43.89125 ounces (that would be the total weight (47.45 ounces) times the silver content (.925) to get a pure silver content (43.89125). This is the 44 ounces (obviously erroneously stated) less 0.10875 of an ounce. I guess my source rounded up. Did I miss something ? and do you intend to make an offer? Thanks for your illucidation.
