It was $16.88 final value and $.30 listing fees. The comparison I used was two strikes with the exact same listing fees and the exact same final value. Fees more than doubled. The problem is with buy-it-now you either don't sell anything, or you have to price it too low to get a buyer. You almost always get better results with auctions.

Warren, you are right, there are no alternatives that get you the exposure eBay gets, but at some point, even with the exposure they provide, it won't be worthwhile if you still can't make any profit. At some point they will go too far and sellers will abandon them.
