Re: This is the first I've heard of any controvers

I did attend the Early Bird Banquet at the 2005 CC>CC convention. There were many donations made during that night including the IGT Silver Strike machine, the plaster casts used by the engraver to make the dye of the club's centennial die, and the art work from the past two years of club strikes plus a Treasure Island $200. All of these items were donated to CC>CC by IGT, Global, and the Treasure Island. All of these items and as well as others have been donated to CC>CC on behalf of the Silver Strikers Club and will be placed in the museum. The Silver Strikers Club is a part of CC>CC just as casino chips, tokens, etc.
Jordan Salmon was at the banquet representing the Treasure Island as a guest invited by CC>CC as the Treasure Island Siren $200 won CC>CC strike of the year. The Treasure Island received a plaque from CC>CC and that was accepted by Jordan Salmon on behalf of the Treasure Island. This was all done because TI won CC>CC strike of the year. The Treasure Island Siren $200 has not won the Silver Strikers Club strike of the year, in 2005 the Treasure Island Siren's $10 won the Silver Strikers club strike of the year.
I hope this clears up this matter and we can put this and many other things to rest. The Silver Strikers Club has had many items donated on our behalf and all will go in the CC>CC museum. The Silver Strikers Club has no place to store all these items and the costs to maintain a storage unit plus insurance is too much for our budget plus CC>CC does have a storage unit. Someday all of these items will be a big part of the museum and silver strikes will be there with the casino chips, slot cards, tokens, etc.
