Is it time?

Most of us knew it was the beginning of the end after Bill passed some years ago. The main attraction for collecting silver strikes was the silver. Combine that, for us silver bugs, with design variants and casino history and silver strike collecting is one interesting hobby. Now with the hockey stick price of silver making new production and further collecting cost prohibitive, is it time? Is it really over? Is it time to grab the multiple tubes of strikes and melt away history for serious and substantial profits? These are the thoughts most of us have had. How hard is it to let go of strikes you’ve casually been collecting out of the machines since the 90s? Turns out it is pretty hard. But at $114 an ounce with each .999 strike at ~$68 melt, the history of strikes may soon only be in our heads and hearts and not in our hands.
