Not much I actually know.

Casino opened in 1958 and is still open to this day.

I have no clue on this token as with most others. I don't know why it was made or how it was received by the public. Most of the time these sorts of tokens are either gotten in the gift shop or you would trade in points. Possible gifts to high rollers or if you got a Royal Flush on the table games.

I was not a collector back then so that information might be lost for ever as we know the mint isn't sharing what they know and who might have worked there at the time is long retired or moved on.

I know these don't come up often and is that because of a low mintage or does someone have racks of them squirreled away in their underwear drawer.

Is there low mintage because the die broke and what was made was good enough.

All good questions and I have no answers.
