I have bought several strikes on eBay lately and have done a dispute on the taxes online through the online written process and had the taxes refunded every time without exception. It takes about a week after the auction ends to get the refund from eBay. I live in Texas and do not know if the laws are different here. I did not call or do the online chat on any of them. Silver bullion is not taxable in Texas. I even bought one of the Silver Strike Brothel token from American Mint and disputed the taxes and received a refund.
