Sarge, like you I have never been asked for my ssn, I wonder if the emails are really from Ebay or somebody fishing for info. I called ebay the first time this was discussed and was told they didn't gather ssn's. If anybody still has the email asking for a ssn can they copy it and post to the board, would like to see if it is from Ebay. I have over the years received emails saying they were from ebay but in facrt they weren't, Ebay doesn't ask for important thigs in an email, they will call. I remember Dennis said he would stop selling on ebay if he had to give a ssn, I wonder if he has sold any thing since he was asked for a ssn.
