Speaking of mintage runs for strikes, is that information available anywhere? I want some refined perspectives regarding mintages for strikes and tokens. To wit, I have 3 coins, of which, only 84 were made. I possess 3.6% of the population and the coins are relatively difficult to obtain and pricey when and if they become available. How does this translate to strikes and tokens from your perspective? If 500 strikes were produced and I possess 18 of them at the 3.6% mark, does that indicate that obtaining further strikes of the mintage may prove difficult?

Additionally, as you mentioned, individuals and casinos impact the availability by “recycling” the silver content. How does that impact the perceived rarity of a certain mintage run of strikes? Is this all just guesswork and market precedence regarding value?
