Jim - The reason for the lack of nominations for silver strikes is the fact a person has to be a member OF YOUR CLUB to submit anything. And I remember when the silver strikers were told we would have to get are own charter and become separate from your Club, That left a bitter feeling among silver strikers and it was clear we weren't getting much if anything for our dues if we stayed. At that point like many other old timers I didn't renew my membership.
