Re: Riata Casino Las Vegas
In Response To: Riata Casino Las Vegas ()

Hi Sarge,

I had one of these awhile back ...

The Riata Gambling Hall & Saloon sold the folios in the gift shop
as a souvenir. There was 4 they call sketch art (pen drawings)
that were printed out including the signature of Ricardo B. Ross
who did the drawings. They were black & white prints .....

There was 4 drawings in each folio, each measuring 17 x 11

The 4 pieces are titled as follows:
#1 - Western Village
#2 - Old Store
#3 - Country Store
#4 - Deadwood City

If I remember right, I was told the folio sold for $1.00 in the
gift shop

The casino opened in 1973 and closed only about 11 months
later in 1974 ....

Hope that info helps
