Sending a $300 from Canada to the U.S.A.

Can anyone tell me if a buyer in the U.S.A. is subject to taxes and/or duties on a $200-$300 Strike sent from Canada? Keeping in mind the actual value may be closer to $500. The customs slip would be marked as "Made in the USA". Thanks.
