Pam, it was confusing to only see the changes, but this is the way any business sends changes to members for a vote. Here is the link to the current constitution to see where the changes will be placed.
Life members are not currently available - according to the constitution. There has to be a vote by the board to create them. My interpretation is that someone might be voted in as a life member if they are considered a special member who deserve recognition for their contributions. I would think the people who give the auction items that generate thousands of dollars for the club would be under consideration in the future, as an example.

These changes clean up some issues (with email especially) that need to be addressed.
