Thanks Paul, that seems to explain why there are so many brass rings on e-bay. I wouldn't have thought that collectors would have done this. Crazy also that even at $50 an ounce for silver, the 0.6 oz inner portion of the strike is still only worth around $30.

Another observation I have is that I see T.I. double crossed swords on both sides went for $100-200 ten years ago now sells for around $28-40. Caesars Palace pewter strike was pretty common and is now going for $38-40. So many other crazy things, I guess that's what makes it so much fun...Ken
