More 1 CLICK BIDDING
In Response To: Re: 1 CLICK BIDDING ()

Sorry Guys, I must have been thinking of something else, I thought I entered an amount first. I haven't used ebay much lately. Here is what eBay says:

To help you avoid being outbid, we offer 1-click bidding during the final 60 minutes of a listing. When you use 1-click bidding, we automatically raise your bid by one increment. To use 1-click bidding, you need to be signed in to eBay and have at least one previous bid on the item.

Dave, if it raises one increment, then that may not be even close to the high bid. So if you were bidding on a strike that the high bid was $28, but that same person had a bid up to $35, you would have to keep clicking ($1 increments I think at that level) eight times to get the high bid right? It goes up one increment, not one increment above the highest bid??? If it only goes up one increment of bidding, that's kinda useless as anyone can bid a penny over the increment and outbid you.
