Time for change

I have just finished going tru all the posts to the board that were made while I laid around in the hospital for 8 days and saw the Mirage post that lead to other things. Seems since there is still concern over the lack of a .999 marking on the $300's why not ask Shaun or the Mint if they could Leave the Rim Copper (it can be coated with no problem to keep it from toning green, as this is done with lots of copper items), this way we would have a nice copper rim and silver center which I think would look good, gaming I think would then allow the .999 marking and all would be good. Some people who I mentioned this to in Vegas in June thought it was a bad idea but I think it would look good and the cost might dopr a bit for production.
Change can be good, who ever said they had to keep an all silver colored $300 strike. Don't ever remember anybody saying the $10 looked bad because it had a brass rim, even the copper colored $10's looked good.

P.S. Go ahead and beat me up over my idea, I won't feel a thing with the pain meds I am taking.
