Don, the mintage figures started in 2004 with 500 minted and a Mint Mark-G, in 2005 there were 400 minted, Mint Mark-G and then in 2006, 400 were minted with the winner of the HAND DRAWN DESIGN CONTEST being Peter van der Kar with the Mint Mark of PVK and Peter was one of the original members of this club when it first started! When this club started to ask for YOUR HAND DRAWN DESIGNS and then they were enhanced by Jo Riefer, that was the end of the HAND DRAWN DESIGNS as we knew it. In 2008 there was a mintage of 259 and that was the year that Jo Riefer won the contest with her Computer Enhanced Design that she submitted and that was also the DEMISE of the HAND DRAWN SILVER STRIKE CLUB CONTEST! In 2010 not only were the Hand Drawn Designs done again by Jo Riefer, but in that year there were a lot of Hand Drawn Designs that were some of the best I have ever seen. I even have to complement Fishinwalt for the designs that he had submitted, but as usual, the winning design went to Jamie Martin who submitted the Las Vegas Sign with a couple of different words used, how sick is this when this contest was supposed to be your own design and not a copy, but as usual here we go with this club click again and you want to know why there isn't anyone who wants to purchase the club strikes! If it is true that there were only 100 minted and the membership has 400+ members, then something is really wrong here. I hope that with a new board the problems can be corrected as the last President stated and promised, "That he would make sure that would be the first problem to be fixed by him as President!"
