Hey everyone...some great news! Just picked up a message from Hal, the new Slot Manager at Sam's Town, and he told us that he is working with the Sunshine Mint to create a new $300 strike, plus he also confirmed that he added two new cars into the machines TODAY "keeping that series ALIVE", in his words. Sam's Town is happy that they won a "Silver Strike of the Year" Award, and this helped keep the program alive, as well!! Our comment card campaign apparently worked (he mentioned this specifically in his voicemail)...SO, maybe we should try this with other casinos!

On a side note, this would be a great time for members to CALL Hal at Sam's Town and THANK him for his support of our Silver Strike program. Sam's Town phone number is: (702) 456-7777. Also, please mention the January 2012 tournament and there will be another 200 Silver Strikers in town (the weekend before the SUPER BOWL)--possibly a good time to drop hints to him about Sam's Town having a tournament during that same time frame--just a thought!

Finally, the former Sam's Town Slot Manager, Dave, is now at a casino in Mesquite, NV. And we all know he was supportive of the Silver Strike program, so if anyone knows which casino (locals??), please let us know so we can all reach out to him to create a Silver Strike program at his new casino.
