the brass rings that I end up with I give to my oldest son. Among other things he collects rocks, geodes to be exact. Well the rock guy trades my son rocks for the brass rings. The rock guy melts them down and makes something to go along with the rocks and re sells what ever that ends up being.

Last I heard the rings could be recycled for around 3 to 5 cents each. Could be a tad more now.

I do my best to offer strikes for sale that I am given to pop apart before I pop them apart. Maybe 1 out of 20 I list for sale actually stays in the strike community.

I have tried to do trades and they also rarely work out. Sometimes though so I will keep trying.
