I don't know the exact details but this is the way I understand what happens. A scan of the artwork and all the other details are sent to the mint. Once that is approved then the dyes are made, prototypes are made for gaming approval and the casino approval, once gaming approves the prototype then the rest of the strikes are minted. As for how fast the strikes can be minted, Sean at Sunshine in Henderson can mint 500 strikes in approx. 4 to 6 hours. Hope this helps
