I went to town and took 50 misc common strikes. Some old and some newer. I popped out the centers. Those 50 strike centers came to 29.2 ounces of silver. 11 of which were the real old ones without the .999 on the silver. Leaving 39 with the .999 on the silver. The ones without the .999 on the silver he paid $20 per ounce. The ones with the .999 on the silver he paid $21. Said the people who buy from him pays more if the .999 is on the silver. This is all based on silver being at $23.00. Sooooo, long story short, the $1.50 back of spot has changed. Some of you can do the actual percentages.
