Seeking Advice re: Suspected Plated Tokens

Hello and greetings from Australia,

I am hoping I could get some advice / confirmation from the members here on a couple of gaming tokens I recently purchased, as these are the first gaming tokens I have bought, and I have no prior knowledge of them. I bought them as advertised - 37gm or 1.25 ounces of .999 solid silver each, however my research into the particular tokens seems to turn up only the ones that have a brass outer ring and approx .6 ounce of silver in the centre component each.

The tokens I have do not appear to have a brass ring, but I am beginning to suspect they may have been plated. The specific tokens I have are:

1. Issued by Plaza Hotel Casino, with an image of Bette Davis and "Hollywood Classics".

2. Issued by Las Vegas Club, number 4 of 15; Winter Events 2002 - Figure Skating.

I've had a look through the respective catalogues over at the Silver Strikers club website and I have found the tokens in question - mine appear exactly as they are pictured in the catalogue except that, as mentioned, they look silver all over.

My question would then be, were either of these tokens ever issued as solid silver throughout, or would my suspiscions be correct and I have received plated tokens?

Many thanks in advance for any assisstance offered.
