Re: Good places in Las Vegas to buy silver strikes

Downtown Las Vegas i got a few strikes at a pawn shop -back behind Binions or Fremont casino- at just above spot silver prices,, beware it's a less traveled area. I walked the street and came across it by chance. also Pawn Stars had a box full - but were priced way to high at the time,, if ya find something there, make your offer above spot and stick to it. I think it was about 4 yrs ago at pawn stars I bought (1 strike only)-Black oaks strike for 23.00 which was high$ at that time, but I wanted it.
Last year at convention time --for the whole week ya couldn't even get into pawn stars due to the long line of people out the door which I wouldn't wait in & it was crazy.
If ya really want to research and do it right, at each city ya visit "including vegas" get on a computer, type in coin shops, list em down... and the call them and ask if they have strikes. visit the ones that do and make them a fair offer on the ones ya want.. this winter I managed to get about 15 strikes from three different places in the Tampa/Bradington Florida area, for a couple bucks above spot at the time and not their exorbitant asking prices.
