I would say if you only go off that a token says it's .999 silver you are missing out on roughly a third of maybe great finds for yourself.

Below is a set of three from LV Sam's Town. Not marked as .999 but 3 1/2 ounces of .999 silver guaranteed. There are a lot of casino tokens that are .999 silver and not marked. There was not a regulation that said a token must list what it is made of.

I wrote a book on casino tokens with a denomination $1 and up that are either silver or gold from around the world. Many do not say what they are made of. But I tested each so I knew when I wrote my book what's what.
