It has nothing to do with "slabbing" .... it has to do with microscopic examination of each individual silver strike ... assigning an arbitrary number to each one and for each advance of a point or more, charging more money to purchase one. No thanks. I like the system that is now in place. Here's a bunch of silver strikes. Your choice for "x" amount of dollars. Are the silver strike collectors prepared to pay six different prices for six differently graded identical strikes? I don't think so!
