Not knowing where you live, I can only speak for the Northern and Southern California chip and silver strike meetings and, I assume you are referring to the Las Vegas convention meetings and auction: you are absolutely welcome to come to any chapter meetings, convention meetings, and/or auctions!

In regard to winning strikes from machines: theoretically, you can win one for a quarter; however, in most cases, unless you're lucky, it can cost anywhere from $8 to $20, and, sometimes, as much as $45! That's why I prefer to trade or buy them.
