Correct! You got it. Autocomplete will raise havok with WebBBS.
I had the same problem myself. After I had about 20 of me saved in my password file I was getting bored and frustrated.
Try this. Turn on autocomplete. When you come here, (or any WebBBS site) the first time after that, it asks do you want to save the password or remember the site, there's an option that should say "Never for this site"
The problem is that WebBBS already remembers you and saves your login as a cookie. Each time it loads, it appears to browser, as if you are on a different page (which you are).
Once you can fix the WebBBS detail, all of your other sites will remember you better.
However if that's the way you want it, then everywhere, including eBay, you will have to type in your login information, every time you visit.
It's not an eBay problem, it's a minor WebBBS quirk. That's why eBay can't fix it.
Are you using Netscape, Firefox or Mozilla by any chance? I don't recall having the problem with Internet Explorer?
