To whom it may concern,

I am sending this e-mail to AOL in hopes that you can end one of your members harassment and libel of me on one of two website message boards that I frequent as a hobbyist.

I am very tired of your member whomever they may be making false statements about me yet claims in many of their posts that they have a right to free speech. That right ends when they outright make claims that they cannot substantiate and are outright lies. This is aside from the name calling of others and myself they leave post about.

As of this date you are receiving official notification from me regarding this problem and I am giving your company just 10 business days (ending August 24, 2001 at 4:00 PM PST) to rectify this problem. Otherwise, I will be holding AOL responsible for your member's actions relating to any and all libelous public statements regarding me.

PLEASE NOTE THE TIMES ASSOICATED WITH THE POSTINGS ARE CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

ALSO NOTE THAT THESE POSTS HAVE BEEN PRINTED OUT IN DOCUMENT FORM.

The main libelous lie that I am referring to is your member's claim that I have slabbed casino chips in my collection.

Your member persists in making their posts anonymously and the only trail we have regarding this person is their IP numbers associated with those posts. The majority of them are sent via AOL servers. I have been assured that you have the facilities to track your members via the IP number used and the date and time that the person is on line when they make such posts on the internet as that IP number is associated with your member's account when they logged onto your system.

The Webmaster of the sites involved is the same person Greg Susong, who has informed the collectors on these sites to contact AOL with their complaints. I've avoided doing so in the hopes that your member would just tire and go away quietly. However, now your member has libeled me stating that I have slabbed casino chips in my collection. I as well as others have taken a pledge that we would have nothing to do with slabbed casino chips and tokens. Also, that we would not deal with any dealers who have slabbed casino chips and tokens. I as an author of the Nevada Silver Premium Gaming Tokens Price Guide, feel that your member's libelous public statements may cause a decrease in the sales of my price guide and I am asking you to take actions against your member whomever they may be on the grounds of that libel.

I am also including below a listing of all of the past postings that others and I feel, that this is the same person although using aliases has left on thechipboard.com only to inflame and disrupt the message board.

Furthermore, I believe that this same person using aliases has left similar disrupting messages at The Strike Point listed above. However, the Webmaster has blocked specific starting AOL IP numbers and some of the regular posters from AOL have to wait for the Webmaster to approve their post because of this disruptive AOL member. Currently, all of the messages in The Strike Point message board ARCHIVE are messages left by this person as the Webmaster has not deleted the posts, just archived them. You can find these by selecting the Archive link on The Strike Point main page, which I have listed above.

It was about this time when the Webmaster started blocking this person's post that they moved their disruptive posts over to thechipboard.com.

On another note this poster seems to have a problem with using other peoples names that are regular posters on either The Strike Point or thechipboard.com although with two last names misspelled, most likely on purpose.

DENNIS (The Strike Point)

Please take immediate action regarding this situation.

I demand a written response within 5 business days after the deadline set forth above, notifying me of your actions you have taken with regard to this situation and with this AOL member.
