May the new year be a good one for the good folks. I have just read the Club News Letter and see there are still 65 of the last Club Strikes unsold and see that as a real shame that all the members can't buy up the limited number that were made ( there were far less strikes made than there were members ). I would think with 65 left the club more than likely didn't make a profit on the club strike but only the club officers would know this. I find it hard to belive the club will invest the money for another club strike again this year knowing full well it will it might not be a sell out, but perhaps the club will limit the number to less than what was bought last year so they can sell out the strike this year and maybe make a couple of bucks but that number might not meet the required number the mint says has to be ordered. As I stated before it a SHAME that the members won't support the club by buying the club strike. Since this is one of the few ways the club has to raise money and the cost of almost everything going up I would only guess if the club strike becomes a loss for the club this year the dues will have to be raised again next year if not later this year, BUY THE DAMM CLUB STRIKE THIS YEAR SO ITS A SELL OUT. Some people used the excuse it costs to much so they didn't buy one but they also say they are spending alot more than the cost of the club strike to win a strike from one of the few strike machines that remain.
