Another reason why real strikers will stay away from the Four Queens. They won't be able to get any strikes for themselves. Every year it is the same crap. Local dealers tying up the machines so no one eles can get any strikes. It will eventually ruin the hobby. There won't be any 200.00 strikes for the strikers because the local dealers will have gotten most of them. I do not even bother to go to the Four Queens anymore. As a club we used to control the amount of pople getting strikes by limiting the amount of strikes with tickets so the collectors could get a chance at the machine. For some reason that was eliminated and now all you have is hired individuals playing for the dealers. If you are a strike collector and going to Las Vegas for the convention you are going to get a big surprise trying to get on a strike machine. This is just maybe one of the reasons why some of the Casinos are taking out strike machines. They do not need the hastle. Plus the penny machines are getting so much play the strike machines are taking up space.
I used to ask some of the people playing the machines if they were collectors and they would tell me they were playing for a dealer. Now I don't even bother. Some people never remember the story about the Golden Goose. My opinion. Ted SS171
