I live in Southern California, about 4 hours from Las Vegas. We go about once a month. I have been collecting silver strikes for about a year and have a pretty nice collection. It would be nice if more casinos had strikes but the ones that do have them keep me busy. I pick up strikes on EBAY, Jackpot Auctions,trade and buy from other collectors, and pick them up at shows...I have had more fun collecting strikes than any of the other casino collectibles. My advice to those of you that are negative about the hobby is to get the guide books about silver strikes, read them, and focus on the areas that interest you. Then make some friends already in the hobby, join the club, go to the tournament and Convention, and start building your collection. But it is very important to keep a positive attitude and enjoy YOUR hobby....just my 2 cents worth....thanks Jim
